John and William Atkinson
The York-based architectural partnership of John and William Atkinson was responsible for many public and institutional buildings in the region. In the period from the 1830s to the 1860s they designed a number of union workhouses including:
- Kirkby Moorside
- Pateley Bridge
- Stockton On Tees
